The Youth Food Lab is a global program led by the World Food Forum that supports youth-led innovations addressing challenges in food systems, agriculture, and sustainability. MadziTech participated after pitching its water-sampling drone technology, earning acceptance into the Youth Food Lab, where the team received mentorship, training, and global exposure to help scale its impact on public health, food security, and environmental resilience.

In Malawi, 21 young women graduated from a life-changing drone technology training program offered by MicroMek’s Drones4STEM initiative. The participants learned skills ranging from drone assembly and piloting to GIS and simulation exercises, empowering them with hands-on experience in drone tech and opening new opportunities in STEM fields.
