OUR EDUCATION PROGRAM
The MadziTech education module launched through the Drones4STEM pilot in Malawi, where women and youth were trained to apply drone technology to real world water monitoring. The program includes six modules, which thoroughly explain drone assembly and operation to assessments that ensure users are flight ready. Through hands-on learning, the program builds practical STEM skills and empowers communities to take ownership of their local water data.

The Base Drone
The Base Drone is Madzitech’s simplest and most beginner-friendly option for water sampling. It is lightweight, easy to use, and best for smaller projects or teams that are new to using drones.
A trained operator controls the drone during sampling, making it ideal for education, pilot programs, and routine water checks. Its simple design keeps training short, reduces risk, and allows water to be collected safely without requiring people to enter contaminated water.

The Mission Drone
The Mission Drone is designed for larger and more complex water monitoring projects. It can fly longer distances, collect multiple samples in one trip, and operate mostly on its own.
Once given a clear flight path, the drone can travel to a water source, take a sample, record a photo, and return to its starting point. This makes it well-suited for hard-to-reach areas and public health or environmental monitoring where efficiency and coverage matter most.
